Train with me!

 

Although I can't join my trainees in person I am very enthusiastic about helping people achieve their goals. I am a firm believer in the concept that if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail. So many times I have gone to the gym and seen people wander from machine to machine, or do 1 round of random weight workouts- this isn't efficient or effective. If you go into the gym knowing exactly what to do, how to do it and how long I guarantee you will get more out your workouts. I am here to help people plan out what they need to do to become fit and achieve their fitness goals, whether that is weight-loss, toning or muscle building. 

 

If you are new to the fitness world, then I strongly recommend using a BeachBody program to help you learn what the correct form for each workout is, and to show you different variations of the same workout to that you can do it no matter your fitness level. The DVDs are great for teaching you how to do workouts, how long to do them for and you have a personal trainer on the television pushing you to keep going. 

 

Even if you aren't new to fitness but need to get back into a routine I STILL recommend the BeachBody programs. It's a good way to add variety and work muscles you aren't used to working. I compliment the BeachBody program with a spreadsheet of weightlifting workouts that have youtube video instructions attached so that you have an idea of the form already in your mind. I am a huge advocate of weightlifting and think that lifting weights is the best way to achieve a fit body but I think that learning which workouts are good, how to do them, and what the proper form are things you MUST know before setting foot in the gym. Many injuries are from incorrect form and a lack of knowledge.
